Hello everyone, after a lot of fun over the past 5 years, it’s come time to sell my 1998 Toyota T100 Xtracab SR5 4×4. Built in Japan for the US market, the truck is finished in Pearl Blue Metallic over gray cloth upholstery and is powered by a supercharged 3.4-liter 5VZ-FE V6 linked to an automatic transmission and a dual-range transfer case. Since purchasing it, I’ve replaced the timing belt, water pump, radiator, starter, intake manifold, and tires. I’m offering the truck for sale with service records, the operating manual, and a clean Washington title.
The truck features a 6’3” bed, sliding rear window, a receiver hitch, front wind deflector, and mud flaps. The original 16″ five-spoke alloy wheels are mounted with 265/70 Falken Wildpeak AT3W Tires which are 3PMSF rated. A full size all terrain spare is mounted beneath the bed. The truck is equipped with power-assisted front disc brakes and rear anti-lock drums. The 4WD system has both high and low range and the high range can be activated while driving.
The cabin features a front bench seat and rear jump seats upholstered in gray cloth. Aside from some minor wear on the driver’s armrest, the interior is in impeccable condition. Original equipment includes cruise control and power windows, mirrors and locks. The head unit has been replaced and features Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and a back-up camera. I’ll also include the OEM tape and CD player head unit in the sale.
The 3.4-liter 5VZ-FE V6 was factory-rated at 190 horsepower and 220 lb-ft of torque. The Toyota Racing Development (TRD) supercharger was dealer installed by the truck’s first owner, increasing horsepower to 260 hp and torque to 265 lb-ft. This TRD power add-on became available in 1997 for the T100, the Tacoma and the 4Runner. Earlier 3.4 V6 powered T100s have different computer and electrical layouts which do not support the TRD device.
The Super Pacific X1 camper was installed in 2023 and was the first ever installed on a T100, the model is also compatible with first gen Tundra’s. More camper details are available on Super Pacific’s website, the installed model is in like-new condition and is identical to the model currently sold by Super Pacific. Additional features of the camper included with sale: two molle panels, an operable cab window, a Shitco rear door awning, a Rhino Rack ladder, awning brackets, and additional storage items.
This era of Japanese built Toyotas are notorious for their dependability and resilience. This rig has already proven its capability, comfortably logging many miles enroute to remote areas of Washington State. I’m asking $24,000, but all serious offers will be considered. Viewing the vehicle in Burien, WA prior to sale can be arranged. I’m also happy to help coordinate shipping.
