Thanks everybody for the interest. The Roo is on the way to her new home!
2002 Kamparoo Weekender Transcontinental Pak– $3000 - This lightweight camper has served our family well for years, and it is time for its next home. The kids and all their stuff have finally outgrown the perfect minimalist camping rig. The trailer weighs in at 1500 lbs with a tongue weight of maybe 100 lbs. A prior owner towed it with a diesel Jetta supposedly. It is light enough that I can move it one person with the included T Bar. What it lacks in amenities, it makes up for in ease of use. It is so simple it can be set up and taken down by a single person in under 15 minutes. The slightly smaller than queen size mattress has tons of under bed storage that is accessible from the outside, plus a small cooking area that can be set up with a sink if you choose, but we just used for more storage. This past year we put new tires, a new hinge and a new winch on it. The tent has a repair from the prior owner that we have never needed to do anything with. All the screens and clear vinyl windows are still clean and clear. It also includes an awning that you can set up on either side. It currently is running a lock and roll hitch that fits a 2 inch receiver. Located in Longmont CO (Denver Metro area)
