!!!SOLD!!
2008 Ford Econoline E350, V10, 103,XXX miles, extended body, cargo van. I bought this van a while back, planning to do a UJoint 4x4 conversion and interior build when my RV sold. Well, the wife and I have decided to keep the RV. This is an extremely hard to find van. If you are or have ever looked for an Econoline you know what I mean. Its almost completely stock, the exception being the cargo divider, rear window guards, front window tint and aftermarket stereo/alarm/backup camera. Its a super rare color, especially for a V10 and extra especially for a cargo van. Dark Shadow Grey Metallic. Theres a ton of metal flake in the paint, of course its really hard to capture on camera but I promise its there. In direct sunlight it has a lighter grey, pewter-y, almost taupe-y quality, at night it looks almost black. It does have some dings and paint chips that I will outline further down in the post. Other than that its in incredibly good shape. It had 2 owners before myself, both businesses in the Dallas area. The van is essentially rust free except for a few small things on the underside and minor, very common blems at the drip rails.
It has no accidents and is in great shape. Im happy to share the carfax I got when I purchased the van or send you the vin if you want to pull your own. Runs and drives like new. Has just about every option that I think you could get in 2008 on a cargo van. V10, power driver seat, vinyl seats, backup sensors, hinged side doors, and the best option if you are going to convert it to 4x4...no RSC!!! 2008 was an odd year, it has the new front end but the old(in my opinion nicer) interior. 2008 was a crapshoot on whether or not your vehicle would have RSC. This one does not which means to convert to 4x4 your front axle can be had for a fraction of the cost of a van with RSC. This is the ideal starting point for a build. A few things to note. I replaced the stock mirrors with telescoping tow/blindspot mirrors. The main mirror is power but the telescoping function and blindspot mirror are manual. You're welcome to have the stock mirrors. The stock chrome grill and bumper were peeling so I replaced the grill with a black one and sanded/painted the bumper with bedliner. The bumper has a dent in the middle that I tried to straighten out somewhat without wasting too much time since I was going to replace it.
I tried to take some pictures in a variety of light conditions so you can see the color, and the dings, which are hard to capture. My plan was to have the dings/chips professionally repaired but I wanted to try to show them here.
This is what the drip rails look like. They have this hard putty/sealant type stuff from the factory that cracks and the paint chips off. This happens on 100% of Econolines and is not super hard to repair.
