2012 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon, Habitat JK Roof Tent & AT Overland Chaser Trailer Expedition/Adventure Rig -UPDATE. JEEP SOLD. CHASER AVAILABLE SEPARATELY
Location: Truckee, California (Stored at Truckee Tahoe Airport KTRK). Currently registered in Nevada.
Price: $57,000 for Jeep & Chaser
Low mile, professionally built Rubicon Unlimited, with a huge four person tent on top (or two people and sitting area), kitchen in the back and matching AT Overland Chaser Trailer towing behind has been built with all the best stuff to enjoy go pretty much anywhere: fun weekend trips to multi-week adventures. The 2012 Jeep has the newer gen 3.6L VVT engine that provides great power over prior generations of JKUs. The rig was built by the guys at AT Overland of Prescott, AZ with their deep experience in expedition builds, combining their own product lines and knowledge of the right suppliers. The suspension, drivetrain and body protection mods are largely from AEV. Interior has a custom perforated grey and yellow leather interior which looks and feels great on long hauls (and cleans easily). It cost around $95k to build.
The rig has been extensively modified to drive to work all week and then quickly take off for adventures. Between the stock fuel tank, extra fuel in rear tire carrier and fuel cans on the trailer, the range is huge. Load up the water tanks on rig and trailer for days and days of fresh water.
Chaser Trailer and Habitat JK and Jeep are all color matched. Chaser and Jeep have matching size and style black wheels and tires.
We used this for our family of four on adventures across the Western US. We found that our kids were getting bigger and we weren't off-roading that much... we were just driving on streets and fire roads. So, we got something bigger and less off road capable. Sadly for us, (but good for the buyer) the X9 winch has never been used and underbody protection never even scraped… this rig is in great condition.
You'll be surprised (or perhaps annoyed) by how many folks come by and take pics of the rigs, ask questions, and drool over all the cool little bits and mods.
