2014 TOYOTA TACOMA for SALE - $29.7K

I am selling a charcoal grey, 2014 Toyota Tacoma Dual Cab Short Bed Truck, 4.0L V6 F DOHC 24V, gasoline, rear wheel drive, 4x4 (VIN 3TMLU4EN0EM156718) which has been modified for Overlanding.

I am the second owner of this vehicle and purchased the vehicle in 2018. This vehicle has only had one minor damage and it was to the left rear taillight which I’ve replaced. I purchased this vehicle in Tennessee and now I live in Georgia where it is titled. It is a very good vehicle and I have not had any issues whatsoever. The vehicle performs very well. I have kept the oil changed regularly. I have lovingly modified this vehicle and have done things right. I do hate to see it go, but I no longer find overlanding as a viable travel option for my wife and me.

The JAMES BAROUD tent was used only three times and several components were never used. Other than the tent, all components come in very nice bags for storage. The tent is well secured to the truck using Front Runner products. The electrical system was designed and built by Overland Power Solutions. Their work is top-notch and provides you access to power via 2 power hubs one of which is located in the back seat and the other in the back of the truck under the canopy. This system also includes a 100Ah accessory battery, portable solar panel and Victron Pure Sine 800-watt inverter.

Except for the Apple Car Play Radio, the following components were purchased after 3/2021:

Nice rig! How did you mount the Evo, 270 awning and the shower cube to the front runner rack? If you could provide specific details about which mounts you used for each part, that would be awesome b/c I'm interested in doing this set up as well on a front runner rack. Thanks!

Thanks! I included some shots below. Mounting wasn’t difficult as long as you have some friends to help with the 270° awning. It’s heavy and aligning all the bolts requires help.

JB included the brackets with my 270° awning. I had to modify the supplied shower brackets as I had to mount them on top of the rack. I did have to go purchase some different sized bolts and aluminum stock (as a spacer) to make it all work.

Aligning the tent, tunnel and awning was a challenge for me. I’d be glad to either talk if you have any questions. I have a lot of experience with this as it was primarily by trial and error.

Hope the pictures help.

Thanks for the additional pics--super helpful! Looks like it will have to be trial and error for me as well, but it's good to see how you used the JB mounts with the FR rack. Did you ever try using the FR universal mounts? I'm assuming they didn't work b/c they didn't stick out enough from the sides to clear the edge of the tent.

No, I didn't use the FR mounts. You are correct, the width of the tent is a concern. I would recommend using the FR quick release mechanism. Makes it a lot easier adding and removing your JB EVO.
