Used it alot for maintenance intervals and edu on the 5.9 as we had never owned one. Last of the pre emissions diesels was the main reason for the initial purchase. Easily 500k miles out of the engine. UPS used them in their trucks for a while and racked up 500k+ miles with just routine maintenance, no major issues.

The main issue with these trucks drive line is the transmissions. Which is why we replaced it with one from Fire Punk Diesel. Check them out. They make some of the best transmissions out there. They put them through the ringer on the diesel drag racing circuits, pushing 900+hp with insane torque. Something I figured we'd never be able to replicate puttzin around the back country, so bullet proof for our application.

Some of the camper mods exterior and interior

170 Watt Zamp solar panel (replaced the original one from FWC)
Added some more USB plugs and upgraded the 12v plug when we did the electrical overhaul. Also 12v plug added in the kitchen (for our 12v watter kettle)
Our added spice rack, magnetic knife storage and replaced the glass sink topper with a bamboo cutting board (UV Carbon water filter system is installed under the sink)
Froli bed system, NIGHT and DAY difference from the original setup. We used the original topper from FWC
Under bed storage that I believe only comes with the flatbed FWCs
Fishing rod holders
NO Jeff Foxworthy does not come with the camper

When we came back home middle of last year to regroup a piece of beach property dropped with a house on it that we couldn't pass up. We are in the process of remodeling said house and the truck sits more than being used.

It may not be worth 110k with the current market but I will venture to say it's worth more than 20k
