The DEF tank is 5 1/2 gallons.

I'd say I go through about 1 gallon of DEF per two tanks of diesel. That is mostly a guess though. I fill up at gas stations that have DEF at the pump and I rarely pay attention to my DEF/ fuel ratio. I just fill them both up.
