$142,000 Final attempt before heading to Tiger Factory in SC for consignment
That’s not the worst option.

After a couple frustrating years of trying to find and buy one online through private sellers, we pulled the pin on that, and instead went to the ProvVan South Carolina location and bought a very nice used one that was there on consignment.

The guys at Provan made it a very easy transaction, handled all of the paperwork, and made sure everything in the vehicle was working properly.

It actually turned out to be a pretty awesome trip. It was in the fall, and we took Amtrak from Arizona to South Carolina…in and of itself an amazingly relaxing and scenic journey, picked up the Tiger after being in town there for two days, and had an incredible fall colors trip back home.

One of the unbelievably helpful guys at Provan actually lent us his jeep wrangler for a day so we could drive around and discover and explore the area while we waited for them to get the Tiger ready to go. Those guys really are a great team to work with!

Anyone buying your Tiger from them on consignment should feel very confident in the deal.👍🏻

Ugh. I’ve been refusing to post on this because I don’t think it’s meant for a family of 4 and large dog but I just gotta ask…can it be?

There is sleeping for 4, however you would either need to find Ford 350 CC seats for the truck, or have the kids travel on the jackknife sofabed which has seatbelts.

Best part of having the kids sitting in the rear, belted safely to the comfy sofa?

The road noise back there completely mutes their whining and complaining!

But seriously, it is pretty noisy to sit in the back while the truck is in motion, so I’d second the good advice ⬆️ that a crew cab or Xcab would be a better option for a family. Maybe kids with tablets and earphones wouldn’t be bothered too much by this though.

Noisy with just pots and pans and the house shaking? Didn’t really think about that. Only dealt with trailers so not sure how noisy because kids in the car.

It isn’t so much the rattling of gear, rather its the wind noise and road noise. Sitting on the couch in back you basically are sitting right over the rear wheels and get the road noise from that.

And at highway speeds, you get some noisy whistling air coming in thru the edge of the side entry door. It’s really too noisy for the folks sitting in back to easily converse with those up front, and visa versa.

So it’s not too noisy to sit in the back and enjoy the ride and views, it’s just too noisy to talk to the driver and front passenger.
