Looking for a nearly “turn-key” set up to get out and use your truck for camping/overlanding?? This set-up has served us very well in the last few years but we are making a change, so our experimenting/project could be yours for the adventure ready to go! This easily allowed me to go solo truck camping with a sleeping pad and sleeping bag on driver side of bed. Was super simple to just throw dog in the truck and go. Even worked really well for family tent camping to keep things secured, protected, and organized.
Shell:
ARE CX HD fiberglass. Fits Ram 2500/3500 with the 6’4” (76”) bed. Was mounted on a 2018 2500. Single t-lock rear glass door (includes 2 keys), sliding front glass, side slider windows with “pet mesh”, carpeted interior, hatch-triggered light, single switch-operated LED strip light. This is the HD model with the reinforced aluminum interior frame and HD roof cross bars. Plenty of options for storage/customization. Includes cross-bar tie downs and i’ve got a ton of extra t-slot rings and hardware included. No structural damage, some cosmetic scratches/etc here and there. Rear plastic that fits over tailgate cracked at ends.
Solar/power:
Renogy 12v 100w solar panel mounted on the roof. Solar controller powers a 104ah AGM battery in a custom-built box. Including a second battery. Battery box has a 12v “lighter” plug, volt display, breaker switch, and 4 usb ports. There is also an open port on the back that housed a dedicated power plug for our fridge (not included) so you can put what you want there. We used this system for running our fridge and charging USB almost exclusively for many multi-day trips. Including some extra solar wiring.

Awning:
Rhino-Rack batwing 270. Tons of room under for rain/sun shelter. Mounted driver side (currently not installed). No major damage, a couple cosmetic abrasions here and there, includes guy ropes and stakes.
Storage:
We built a wooden storage “shelf” for the front passenger side of the truck bed (6’4” RAM beds). Left enough room behind to have fridge, etc. Battery box bolts down. This was built to hold 5 sidio crate boxes (included, with lids, pads, and dividers), 2 deep boxes and 3 shallow. Boxes held by bungees and tie-down rings. Shelf also has 3 “bins” on back side for loose objects. Top of shelving sits nearly at bed height. Solar controller mounted to back side, visible and accessible. Was mounted to our truck with L-track, allowing for everything to be removed quickly and use the truck bed. Not providing L-track but could walk you through it.
So there you go! Save yourself the time and money of fiddling around and let our time be your gain. System including canopy could be installed initially in a couple hours and then all interior components can be removed in minutes to free up your truck bed (if mounted on l-track).
$4000 for all of it. Willing to separate some components (canopy keeps solar/battery since the panel is hard-mounted) for reasonable offers.
