I am selling my original one-piece Front Runner Slimline roof rack as I have a new one on order. The rack has been heavily used, but has consistently performed flawlessly. It really has become a great asset and come in quite handy on numerous occasions. As those of us with FJ Cruisers know, space is at a premium and it's always nice to have some options when it comes to moving things or heading out on a trip.

- The original Front Runner Slimline rack comes complete with roof rack, mounting legs, and the install tracks for the roof of the FJ Cruiser.
- The tracks use existing factory mounting locations.
- All new Front Runner rack accessories (with exception of the updated axe, shovel, hi-lift mounts, and expedition rails) should fit without issue. I can confirm if you have any specific questions.
- Rack is currently on the vehicle, but will be removed tomorrow so I can install the new one.
- Rack can be inspected at the Front Runner warehouse in Burbank or at their Open House this Saturday.

$480 OBO local pickup (Burbank/Glendale area) // Not looking to ship at this time.

Why are you upgrading to the new one? What did they change?

The new racks are modular (not one-piece) and there were a couple of major changes.

First, because they are modular you can dictate how many slats you want running across the rack and if you want the gap or not between them. I wanted to add a few more to the rear to make a solid section as I find it's a little easier to slide things off and remove them when traveling solo.

Second, the outside rails now have the same t-slot as the slats so it makes it easier to mount accessories like shovel, axe, etc whereas the first version required drilling into the rack to mount something. They have also added their "expedition rails" that fit into the outside rail to add a little vertical height at the corners for extra support and cargo lashing points.

The first one is an awesome rack, but I just wanted some of the features found on the newer one.
