Custom built Overland trailer With Kennel compartment. Interior wall swings back to make one large (aprox 8’x4’x3’) kennel or two 4x4x3 kennels. Expanded steel doors on the side and rear can be opened for ventilation or closed for transport.
One inch of rigid insulation in the walls.
Drains in the floor.
Lights in the ceiling.
12v battery mounted to the drivers frame.
Jerry can/water can mount next to battery.
Pre wired for a solar panel.
Crossbars for roof top tent.
2 inch ball.
Towable with a car or truck.
Spring over axle with tons of ground clearance.
The interior has been sprayed with light grey Raptor coating.
The box has been painted with a high zinc base coat I was planning on having it Raptor coated to match the van but never got around to it.
I had this built as a way to keep my 150 pound St Bernard/mastiff mix contained and safe while we were in camp and during fire evacuations. He passed away unexpectedly this spring and I don’t have a use for it any more.
We took it on one trip last summer and it worked perfectly. Tows nicely. I had a CVT roof tent mounted on it but pulled it for another project. There is a 12v plug under the crossbars to run power to a tent.
