Just out of curiosity, can these be modified for shorter bed lengths i.e. 6’1” ? I’ve never seen one up close, but was kinda hoping they were modular and the top tubes could just be cut shorter.

drrobinson, interesting question as I have one from a sold F-350 6.5’ bed and considering retrofitting it to my new 150 w/ 5.5’ bed. Initial analysis makes it look doable with minimal issues/hurdles. But I am also wanting to keep my bed cover, and that is the challenge!!
