SOLD- M416 Adventure Trailer - CVT Mt Rainier - $5,000

1966 Johnson Furnace manufactured M416 military trailer restored and upgraded for adventure and long distance travel. This trailer was all original, unmolested, and rust free when purchased.

Trailer has been media blasted and painted with Toyota OEM paint. Lid is supported by grease-able hinges and 175# gas struts that will lift and support the lid and the tent, as well as bikes mounted to the rack if you prefer. The trailer provides clean, dry and secure storage for your camping equipment, whether at home or on the trail. The lid is constructed of 14 gauge Galvaneal steel and does not twist, leak or drum. Trailer has original fool-proof heavy duty pintle lunette eye that allows full articulation and is 100% bomb proof. Tires are BFG all terrains in 235/85 -16 size (33” tire) for extra trail clearance and durability.
Tent is a CVT Cascadia Vehicle Tent Mt Rainier roof top tent that opens to a spacious 72x96 sleeping area. 3” dense foam mattress provides a great nights sleep. There is a separate awning room that can be utilized as a changing/ sitting area or will accommodate cots. This tent is the largest of the single ladder Pioneer series that CVT now sells. Tent is supported by Yakima towers and three sets of load bars to evenly distribute the weight across the top. Load bars are wider towed the front of the trailer to accommodate bike racks including Yakima High Road (not included)
We have pulled this trailer behind my Tacoma and my Land Cruiser many miles across the Midwest and the Rockies. It will handle any trail that you could conquer with a 4WD truck/Jeep and likely would tuck in behind many of the larger side by sides now available as well.
Build thread is linked below. Bikes and bike racks and accessories not included. Rear tire bag not included. May be able to provide a pintle receiver and some water jugs for the right price. I am asking $5,000. In Minneapolis, Minnesota

Thanks, guys. Here are photos of the trailer and tent before the fancy paint to match the Land Cruiser. The trailer was and is incredibly solid. Surprisingly I have no pictures with the annex attached after paint.

I carried 2 x 8 ramps to raise the tires an additional 6” for the annex (included) for the kids to sleep in.

Trailer all packed for a young family of five

Trailer was regularly used to visit nearly every state park in Minnesota, Wisconsin and South Dakota with the 5 of us. Annex can fit 3 cots if you’re creative. Tent mattress is 72x96 making it larger than a king size bed.

Humpday bump! I am headed to Boulder , CO next week. Likely Sioux City, Omaha, and across. Could arrange a meetup along the way.

Nice rig, I wouldn't split it up, complimentary items sell better together, for more.

I wouldn't drop the price but say $5.00, $4,995! Unless you need a body transplant, it's not needing to be fed, so keep it until you find a buyer. ;)

Sunday bump. Lots of tire kickers…. Not too late in the season to get this out and explore!
