Could you provide some pictures of the piece of wood you added to the rear of one of the drawers? Also do you think they could be put back to side by side drawers?

I’ll snap some pics of it tomorrow, sure thing. They could be mounted side by side again. If you check this link out, one of the pics shows the bare frame. The lower mounting brackets and back panel are 1 piece on a normal drawer setup. I just cut the brackets and panel in half. The upper drawer is mounted to the lower drawer lid that way. Another reason I cut/stacked them is because there is almost no room to open the fridge. Maybe 6” is all you can then it hit the headliner.

You can see how much space is above the fridge in this pic. If you mounted it on the side-by-side configuration, it wouldn’t work. The Dobinsons slide didn’t come out far enough either.

The drawer is mounted with two rubber stops, kind of a pain to remove. These are with it installed. Let me know if these will work or if you need some of the drawer removed.
