For sale, clean, used (less than a year) Alu-Cab Gen 3 Expedition Tent with Alu-Cab Shadow Awn awning.
Tent only $3500 OBO
$4200 OBO for both Tent and Awning which is already mounted. This setup is $5600+tax new and in near new/demo condition. Tent still smells new. Also includes original ladder with bag as well as Yakima HD Bars & Lock Cores and 2 keys. Kayak rack shown in the photo not included.
Local pickup or can coordinate via
U-Ship or similar.
Comes with overhead light with switch up top and at base near door entry. Few USB and 12V ports, as well as andersen plug and cable for powering the tent. It works awesome and I used it with my goal zero setup, but you can use whatever power source you have.
My partner and I used this on several trips in the Eastern Sierras, up and down the California coast, Oregon, Arizona and throughout the Western US, including winter camping recently in the Sierras.
We bought this particular tent primarily because we like to standup paddle and wanted to be able to mount SUPs or kayaks to the roof for our adventures. It's been great for that.
If tent buyer does not need or want the awning, I will sell tent separately ($3500) and likely keep the awning. The awning is mounted to the tent via brackets that can be removed, but will require sealing the holes that are required to drill for awning bracket mount. Thats why I prefer to sell it together, if you dont mind I will gladly keep the awning. I just mention this in case someone says I just want the awning, I want to give first right of refusal to the tent buyer.
