Engine- Generation II 4.6L Persuit from East Coast Rovers
Transmission- Stock Auto
Transfer Case- LT230 1.4:1, with Maxi Drive 4.3:1 crawler geared low range
Axles- RoverTracks Front Drive shafts and CVs, Rover Tracks rear HD axles, with stock 3.54 gears (they were the strongest at the time and have done well, plus all the gearing has been done with the transfer case) and Front and Rear ARB lockers with underhood electric pump strong enough to inflate tires, hose to reach all four tires included!.
Suspension- Safari Gard Stage 3 gear: 3” SG progressive rate springs, Bilstein 7100 series gas shocks

Wheels and Tyres- 315/75r16 BFG MT KM2 on ProComp 8069 polished black 16x8 alloys. Spare tire rear swing away mount thanks to Joe Bennett at BileTTech in Longmont, WY... er CO. These are covered by Flexi 50mm wheel arch flares from Paddock Spares in the UK. (was Goodyear MT/R 35x12.50x15 on Gulf Coast Rovers 15x8 steel wheels with 4.5" backspace.)(was 285/75r16 on stock 3 spoke wheels) [Updated 4-25-2008] [re-updated 4-25-2009]

Winch- Warn XD9000i, 120' orange synthetic rope

Other Modifications- Safari Gard front and rear bumpers with full skid plates, Safari Gard rock sliders and diff guards, RockWare exhaust cat/t-case/frame slider skid plates, and Rock Ware HD draglink and Rover Tracks tie rod and front driveshaft yoke protector, genuine Land Rover rear lamp guards, a Mantec Snorkel, and an Optima yellow top deep cycle battery.

AND.... Warn XD 9000i winch with full accessory kit. The front bumper has a swivel D-ring for straps and the rear bumper has a high clearance integrated 2” receiver for the D-ring in the rear without compromising the departure angle. The 48” HiLift jack is mounted on the rear passenger seat floor.

AND MO'... CB Radio, Alpine detachable face AM/FM/Tape deck with 6 disc changer plays through six Infinity speakers and a 8” sub-woofer (dual 10" subs used when not off road, the box takes the place of my parts/tools StormCase) powered by a 600 watt amp plus an AC/Delco 130 Amp alternator to power the Stereo and Lightforce 9.75" lamps.

Plus the most important (and the only mod/fab I did myself) is the addition of 2 LR geunine cupholders from a 1995 soft dash RRC, perfectly fitted the the RR1 center console!

That photo is a little dated, no swing away carrier and no 16x8 alloys with 315/75r16 BFG KM2.

Thanks a lot Cris.. although I like Tacovendor, makes me hungry for my time in New Mexico... although Taco may be referring to a truck in this case.. I'll ignore it!

The last 20 months has been a real trip, Dx 2 months after I turned 40!

PET/CT scan tomorrow, praying for great results from the chemo I've been enduring!
