Hi Bob,

Most of my questions are about the truck;

Is it manual or auto trans?
Are you the original owner of truck?
Total miles?
Is the motor stock?
Is the front end original...such as ball joints, tie-rods, etc?
Any rust issues on frame, doors, etc?
Do you have pics of truck & frame?
What year is the XP?.....any cracking on the camper body?
Does the truck tray have the pull out stairs under camper door?

Automatic transmission.
I’m the second owner; have driven it 100k miles.
Stock 5.9 diesel.
New steering control arms and trackbar.
No rust.
The camper is a 2011. There are some cosmetic cracks; I’ve had them repaired before at XP.
The truck tray is separate, and in the rear of the flatbed. There are pull out stairs (the snow photo above shows them) on the side.

love your rig there buddy! I live down in Tijeras NM ... we have a Tacoma with an AT habitat and tow an AT Chaser trailer with an RTT ...

Hope you find the right buyer... I've often thought that would be a great way to go as opposed to what I have done, in fact, whish I'd gone your route!

What is the fuel capacity and approximate fuel mileage on your rig?
Does the truck have rear seats or a platform?
I assume the seats are cloth?

36 gal tank, and it gets 12-14mpg.
Split bench that folds up and a full platform folds out. Storage under the platform. Seats are cloth with Covercraft covers.

I’d be all over this if it wasn’t a diesel. It’s a very nice rig And so tempting. Have been inside a similar one, they are sweet. I have some mild asthma so the diesel exhaust is a problem. Pus I’m no mechanic. Is the flat bed so specific to your truck it couldn’t be move to another HD truck?

I’m not a mechanic either, but have found the maintenance to be no big deal if you find a qualified mechanic and keep up with it. Modern diesels are very clean and the distinctive sound and incredible low end torque are the only reminders that you are driving one. Diesel fumes are not something that I or my wife (who has asthma) have ever noticed.
i have no doubt that flatbed and camper could be moved to another truck.

Dedicated 3 gal tank in a heated rear locker on the camper. It supplies fuel to the Webasto DualTop Evo heater and the Webasto cooker (stovetop). On my last ski trip to Canada, I ran the heat 24/7 and could get 3-4 days on that tank. It’s very efficient.
