2015 XVENTURE XV-2 by Schutt Industries, Deluxe Plus Package
Price: $15,500 OBO (selling as complete package)
Location: Atlanta, GA
Reason for sale: this trailer got my family hooked on adventure and exploration and we’ve decided to take the plunge and purchase a larger platform
We’re the second owners of this XV-2, which the first owner had equipped with the Deluxe Plus Package. It has well under 15k miles and is ready to roll with all of the below features fully functional. More pics and video available upon request.
The trailer has never seen any serious off-roading or rock crawling, only pavement and forest service roads. The trailer is mostly garaged and when parked outside has a fitted camper cover. The first owner reported a mishap with a tree branch falling on the RTT that caused some cracks in the fiberglass hard shell. We had these professional repaired after purchase (leaving the primer as-is since it doesn’t affect function).
Schutt reports a dry weight of 1,200 lbs and GVWR of 3,500 lbs, which equals a lot of payload. It tows very easily behind our 5th gen 4Runner and is well mannered on all road surfaces. For peace of mind the trailer is backed by a 10-year manufacturer warranty.
If you’re not familiar with Schutt or the XV-2, definitely check out their website. This trailer is incredibly strong, durable, and versatile. I’ve pasted highlights of the setup below; full trailer specs are available on the website. MSRP was over $34k and we’ve done our best to price it attractively based on the used market. I’m rarely on ExPo but will get email alerts if you DM me. Thanks for looking
