Some traction for the front of an f150. Which would you pick?

does the raptor traction control help the Torsen or is that an Internet myth?

It is not a myth. But the way I'd say it is that the Torsen helps traction control... When you "disable" traction control, you are really only disabling the engine reduction part of traction control. The brake part is still active, and will apply brake to a spinning tire or tires to transfer torque to the tire(s) with traction. Having a LSD of any kind simply means less brake pressure is needed than if you had an open diff. In short, traction control loves LSD's, but wheel slip is required to get things moving again. Roll into the throttle easy and you'll get very nice transfer from spinning wheels to the ones with traction. :)

So I still need to decide and still can’t make up my mind

put a set of raptor takeoff wheels on the truck so I need to regear

I got 4.11 gears on the way should behere next week.

Leaning heavy toward the Torsen but still not quite sure.

I want the extra traction for moving trailers around wet pastures

I'd go with the Torsen set up, lockers are fun and all...buuut lockers + larger tires + IFS + off road use = greater chance of gernading parts. The Raptor comes with the Torsen set up and they do just fine with the use and abuse they see...with out stories of broken axles and diff housings all over the internet.

If you are just moving trailers around in wet pastures...go for the Torsion. It's easier to use, it's always "on", and has less to break or repair. You don't have to wire anything or run air lines, no switches, no waiting for it to kick in. You literally install it and forget about it.

And yes, the Raptor front diff fits an F150.

So looking at the internet I wonder if this will this fit with the electric steering box?

i know there is a rumor that the 6.2 won’t fit in the 2015 and later f15s because. Of the steering.
