sources for chassis in Canada

Hi,

I'm working on a 4 season offroad camping trailer design. The box and components are all worked out. What's missing is the trailer chassis. Looks like most trailer builders don't understand the need for a torsion free construction and coil suspension.
Does any know of a builder in western Canada that can build that?

The goal is to have it made of Aluminum, needs breaks, 6x18 ,3000gvw , ground clearance, internal wire routing and LED lights.

Hello There!
There are a few places that do custom aluminum work, even one here on the island. Though he does mostly boat and marine, his work is supposed to be exceptional. Mike will be able to tell you his company name, he was working out in Sooke at a marine shop, but may have moved from there?

The other place is over up near Parksville, it is called Express Custom (http://www.expresscustom.ca/expresstrailer.com/index.php). I have seen a lot of their work rolling around town. Lots of truck decks and work boxes, plus a lot of full utility and landscape trailers. I hear they do custom work as well.

Other than that, Mike may know of other shops doing custom aluminum work. Glad to see you are building a trailer!

Thanks Greg! Already in conversation with with Express. But looking for more options. So far we are at around $7000 for just a chassis...
Idea is to pull the trailer for a couple of years and then convert it into a flatbed camper for pick ups or even a Fuso.

Ouch, $7k is a lot.
