Perhaps not as difficult or exotic as some locales, but this is the first true camping trip with the Superu and the whole family, me, wife and boys 7,5 & 2!

The trip up was beautiful and peppered with wicked lightning and t-storms. The kids only got me to threaten to turn around once and the campsite is fantastic. Woke up about an hour ago at 5:00 and heard nothing but the breeze and the birds.

Off to drop off the Subie this morning for some major reconfig including custom FMH and Warn 9000i multi-mount, custom lightbar and dual battery setup.

Time to boil up some water for coffee! Will post more as time permits.:)

Modifications more extensive than planned so

the roadtrips in the rental Trailblazer have been extended. Took the only autoroad up to the summit of Whiteface Mtn in the Adirondacks and then hiked to the summit observatory. Very cool place with a 300 ft tunnel bored through the mountain and an elevator in the midst of the mountain to come down from the observatory.

Also, took in the wet and wild ski jump show with the Russian National freestyle team at Lake Placid. Wild to see these skiers doing the jump, acrobatics and landing into a pool!

In Montreal at the moment heading over to the Parc Olympique after breakfast.

On the Subie front, the Safari Snorkel is done and a modified light rack is being set up until we come back up in October for the FRH and the lift kit installation.
