Southco Rotary Latches

Has anyone used Southco Rotary Electronic Latches before? I'd like to put them in my next build so I can use a key fob to lock, unlock, or open a custom rear door. But despite their site looking very targeted towards "vehicles" I'm not seeing any posts on here of people using them in DIY builds, and I'd like to learn about them the smart way - from actual users instead of catalogs.

I've seen them or something very similar used on some builds on Youtube but I can't say where exactly ATM. However, genuine Southco is generally high quality stuff. If they aren't cost prohibitive I'd trust these most certainly over anything from Amazon, etc.
