I bought this SpaceKap Plus6 utility body at auction with intention of selling it to a contractor or fiberoptic service company. But, having been a long time lurker on the EP forum, I thought I might at least offer it up here. I think this would be a more interesting use for it rather than hauling a bunch of tools around Texas.
I know that there have been prior discussions here about the SpaceKaps made in Canada. But, most have decided that they are too expensive to use as a basis for a conversion. I have this 2008 in near new condition for $5000 off of the replacement cost. Maybe that will prompt someone to use this for a project since it has four tripod jack stands, 12v engine based heater, windows, power vent, and A/C all included for about the base price of a new SpaceKap Plus. I'm asking $7900 OBO and can provide more details and pictures by email. I can reduce the price to $6900 OBO if the lowering ladder rack and tool boxes are removed.
