I've been looking... currently have a Yakima hitch mount that no longer works due to my swingout tire carrier...

Looked at the Thule spare me and it seems it wont fit 33's...

So, what are you guys using to spare tire mounted bike carriers???

How many bikes do you need to carry? They say this one fits up to 31's but I have used it on 33's and 35's. It seems like I may have turned the lower hinged part around or something, but I can't remember now.

I took the rail part of a hitch mounted rack and through bolted it to the wheel. been working out great and didn't have to buy a new rack.

I have a Saris batwing carrier I'll sell for cheap. $50 + shipping (firm). My full suspension bike didn't work very well on it, so I went with the Yakima Spare Time.

I'm sorry, I can't remember the brand, but I used to have a bike rack that bolted to the spare tire using the lug-studs (between the spare tire mount and the rim). It had a universal lug pattern (combination of holes) and would work with just about any size tire and wheel offset combo (it was adjustable).

I have a Saris BatWing for sale if anyone is interested. Shipping is steep, but I'll sell if for CHEAP! I now use a Yakima because the Saris didn't fit my full-suspension bike very well, and because I wanted one that would fold down.
