Spare Tire Shovel mount?

Anyone know where I might find a shovel bracket that would fit on my (rear mounted) spare tire?

A shovel mount that would fit on ordinary Thule crossbars would also work.

I don't have a basket rack, and am looking for a way to mount a shovel. All the shovel brackets I've seen are designed to mount on basket racks.

What I did was head to my local Fleet Farm store, go to the horse section and by leather straps with buckles. You can choose from many sizes and that's it.

Proven through high speeds on road and off-road no movement. I use 2 inch Super Sliders by Waxman to ensure the sharp edges of the shovel do not penetrate the tires.

I used to run the shovel below but it is better on the tire. Again leather horse straps with Super Sliders.

Got my MOLLE rack back from the podwer coater today. This is what it looks like:

Quick removal with wingnuts; or I can use locknuts to make it more difficult to remove.

And this is what it holds, so far; I still have a bit more room left in it.
