And it works! Modelbuilder, NWoods and I saw the 911 feature work very well on a run this winter, and I had the igominious opportunity to use the Send Help function a couple of months ago ... and NO Modelbuilder, it did NOT involve Miss Trona. :victory:

No these arent the new versions.. these are the regular SPOT's that have been out for 2 years. That's why they're on blowout.

No they do not come with any service, we don't handle that part.. we just sell the units.

Once these are gone, they are gone... thats it. We have 7 left.

Just ordered one of these from Dave. I intend to use it when out hiking on fires. There's some great potential to use the tracking feature to sent a fireline back to base camp by satellite long before I could hike back and download my GPS.
