I just picked up a Taurus 605 .357 Mag revolver with 2" barrel. Great compact sidearm for hiking.

Nice... I picked the same gun up this past summer... Put about a 750 rounds through it already. First semi-auto pistol and I love it.

Where did you pick up the extra clips? I've been looking for a good price on factory clips.

Got the mags from Springfield armory's Mag Promo.

Didn't know about it when I started paying for the gun, that if you bought an XD between Oct 8th (the first day I paid $ down) and tomorrow the 31st you were eligible to get 3 free mags and a 2-up mag holder.

So now I have 5 mags, 2 mag holders, a holster, a loader, a cleanin tool and a nice hard case that'd be great for travelling. (I have a smaller "gun + 2 mag" lock box from Gunvault, too.)

Love those Springfield mag pouches but, for myself, I much prefer the Blackhawk Serpa holster over the Springfield one included in the kit. I carry almost every day (Calif.CCW) and the Serpa just works for me. (See posting under your "jail" thread.) Enjoy your new friend!
