It won't work on a Chaser because of how it mounts to the side box?

If it will/might work, I want one too :)

Hmmm...this same mount won't work on the Chaser but maybe we can come up with an alternate method of attachment/design that would work on the Chaser. I'll have to take a look at yours sometime.

Just a little comment...

It looked as good and works as well as you think it does. I was impressed when Spressomon broke it out. Very cool idea.

More Pictures

Any more pictures? :jumping:

How does the drain fit, is there a tube or something that takes the waste water away from or under the trailer?

The drain is basically a 1/2 air coupler. Connects to 1/2" hose...runs to a 5-gallon bucket that also collects the waste water from the Coleman water heater. It is relatively compact and stows perfectly on the shelf above the slide out stove within the side box.

I thought about using a small residential type sink drain but I'd have to stow the whole sink somewhere else and I am primarily using it for washing hands, dishes, etc. The benefit to a traditional sink drain though would be the sink basket would filter food chunks from dirty dishes just like home. Trade-offs!

Yeah.. BUMP!

Did you come up with a price? more pics?

Once hunting season is over I'll be able to spend some time on this. The same sink with all the components as the one you see would be $200 (you would just need a drill & bit to drill the two mounting holes on the Horizon sidebox...nothing else). If a drain wasn't desired it would be less...

Not cheap...but OTOH I saw numerous residential SS bar sinks (no fixtures) for below at and substantially above 2 bills (just the sink).

Saving my pennies, when are you going into production?

To be able to offer these at $200 I need to have the sink portion made in lots of 10...it saves about $50 over each from my sheetmetal guy.

I also want to go look at bar type sinks to see if that would work. Some might not care if they need to stow the sink system/assembly in another spot. For me I really like stowing it on the shelf above the stove slide out.

This Sunday...so I should be able to finalize everything within the next couple weeks.

Finally got tired of the mess from washing hands etc. and fabbed up a little sink that quickly snaps into place and stores perfectly above the stove in the side box. Demo'd it at DV and really like it. I have a QR drain not shown in this pic that drains into a plastic bucket.

Bugger! the idea will go to China for T-Choice
it is nice and neat mate and will keep the partner happy

I'm willing to store the sink in a different spot because I have the Chaser instead of the Horizon. Do you want to look at my Chaser soon (after hunting season) to see what will work for the Chaser or if you can make one that will work for both AT trailers?
