This church is in a tiny town in cedar county nebraska.

It is an absolute gem!!

Please comment and critique...

A couple i might try do do some lens correction to reduce the distortion caused from the wide angle..

Just my opinion, but the (poorly done) HDR really kills the otherwise cool subject. Otherwise, great looking building and nice compositions. I like the wide effect as long as you've got some good 90º lines in there to anchor it. Landscape shots should always be level with the horizon or WAY off for composition's sake. 2º off level is really distracting. #3 is my favourite.

If you're code talk is in any way relating to the pics looking like someone took an eraser to the threshhold between the sky and the church...

I heartily agree. OP - Hit the "back/undo" butten 15 times, and then repost. :)

I don't know much about photography but I was up that way last year doing some kayaking on the upper Missouri. The takeout was at St Helena and I agree, the Church is outstanding. Thanks for sharing.

I like the vantage point in #1, and I think #4 is a very nice shot. The halos and so forth in the others shots sort of kill it for me though. On shot 4, I would suggest trying to warp it a bit using the Perspective Warp tool in Photoshop to get the tree more upright, and the back corner of the church as well.
