My name is Matt and I am brand new to this site, so I am unfarmiliar with navigating through it. I have a 2011 dodge ram 1500 with all the bells and whistles. I recently added an A.R.E. mid rise topper (mx series) that was color matched and it is carpeted on the interior and the bed was rhino lined. I am an avid hunter and fisher here in Nebr. and have a cabin in Minnesota, but still get out on the weekends to camp and fish. i am looking to create a sleeping and storage area in the rear, and was wondering where I can find pic.'s of some of your projects. i am not sure if i want to use a deck with compartmental storage underneath or go with cabinet style storage on the sides and a bunk going across the top for sleeping. Any direction or advice would be appreciated. If there is already a thread for this can somebody point me in the right direction. Thanks for your time.

Hey Matt I am also new on here, I made a very simple platform w/minimal storage myself last winter for fishing trips. I found a lot of useful ideas here and by simply google searching and youtube as well.
Anyway I don't know how complex you want it to be, but I just wanted something simple and removeable in parts so I could still use my truck for landcaping and hauling icefishing gear, etc. I am pleased with with how my setup has worked I kept the platforn at wheel well height, not higher as most do to keep from the "closterphobic" feel. Sorry I have not any pics but I am sure if you haven't seen you will see what I am about to explain hoe my setup works....I made two boxes(running length of truck, about 12 in wide) THese boxes have hinged lids for storage, can remain in place at all times, gear can be stored down "center" of truck bed. When ready to sleep I have 4 pieces of plywood that fit between storage boxes to complete bed.
Unfortunately withthis setup cooler or taller objects wont fit under sleeping platform, but works for me because i am always towing my boat, so extra gear just goes in there when time to sleep. I have still been able to compartmentalize everything else in thinn storage containers, really cooler is the only issue. I really enjoy the extra headroom. It is quite comfy, My father and I actually slept comfortably down to 5 degrees last spring while fishing the rainy river(far northern MN)
Good luck with your project.
