I'll ask Doug how he has his Sirius set up. I don't think it's permanently mounted in the trailer.

Doug says " I went on ebay and bought another cradle. I wired that up and I can take the head unit and switch it over to the trailer when i need it."

The wife and I really like the Sirius boom box. It gets really loud if need be and you can plug your ipod if you get sick of 185 stations. Pretty good on batteries but you can plug into an ac outlet if needed.

Here's a link to the polyplanar marine system I put in the dash of my lightweight. Was a piece of cake to install (other than hating to use a 5 inch hole saw on my dash) and the sound is pretty good. It's 2 waterproof speakers (since sponge painted green), a 55w waterproof amp, a volume dial and an mp3 jack for my ipod or treo. No stereo, but you could plug in Sirius or XM I'm sure.

Cost about $120.

Would probably work great on a trailer and now you have me thinking b/c I just bought an m416 in December.

Here is Doug's set up. He has an Amp in the nose box, along with his Sirius Radio receiver. Inside the main box he has a Marine grade bass speaker. Mounted on the outside of the lid he has two marine grade speakers.
