Stolen ER!

Would be nice to know the backstory on it, why it is going to auction. One would think insurance would bring it back to its once pristine condition for the original owner. But now it's up for auction, very odd for such a pricey vehicle. Maybe the damage is extensive? Someone should take a look...

My guess is that the insurance company paid off the original owner before the truck was found so they ended up owning the truck.

Hey, that makes sense...

That what left :snorkel: Easy cost a $ 24.000 and Up ....at least ....

For owner make sense purchase a Truck from auction = send a clime for damage to his own Insurance ( with money what he will resive , he can buy a Brand new truck and move all details from stolen )

I spoke with the insurance company trying to get more photos and info a while back. The lady was very surprised on what the reserve was (she thought it was an error) and she wouldn't tell me. It is very hard for me to justify buying a ticket from Alaska for a gamble on this one. I'll be curious and will be watching this as well.

Surprised at how high or how low?

Good question - I bet she was surprised at how high.
Insurance people are not car people, she probably saw on the paperwork that it was a "commercial truck with front end damage" and the reserve was like 40 or 50 grand. In her experience that number for a "similar" commercial vehicle is probably like $15-$20,000.

I saw one like the description above on low-boy heading north on the 15fwy through corona, ca 3 days ago......It appeared to have a driver side window smashed out other than that ooked to be in decent shape..one other vehicle was on the low-boy with it.

Wow. I have never seen one close up or detailed pictures like those at Ebay!

Having worked at Unicat, I can clearly see the differences....Unicat is miles ahead... No match at all. BUT, I'm very impressed with some of the details. Like an outlet for your hairdryer inside the closet!

For $90k you think they'd replace whatever is missing in the dash and add a spare tire.

As you look at the pictures there is a lot of high value stuff missing. All of the electrical equipment is missing from the under the left seat (charger/inverter ect.). No pictures of the roof but it looks like the solar panels are missing.

It would be a good restoration project.

That electric outlet is for a printer or to charge your electronics. No hairdryers allowed!
