Jeff Wanamog
Off Road Camper Guy
If you have never seen this guys website and you own a 100 series, you are missing out. http://tlcfaq.com/main/article-indexI
And if you have ever done any work on a website/forum, you would be able to tell how much time this guy puts into it.
So, being the nice guy I am....I thought I would steal one of his ideas and put my own spin on it.
Imitation is the highest form of flattery, right?
So here we go,
I loved his idea of putting the scangauge into the overhead consol, but did it a little different.
This panel was meant to hold a a garage door opener. And because my cruiser is not allowed in the garage, I mounted my scangauge onto the bracket (with some mods) that was ment to hold the remote control.
Would have turned out perfect for me except I wear bi-focal lenses and have to tilt my head back to see the gauge. Still worth it. I need to see my trans temps because I tow with this monster I love so much. The codes to program the scangauge for trans temp are also on his site.
Next idea of his I am going to steal, I mean borrow is using the 80 series diff switch to control my ARBs that YOTAMASTERS are going to install.
To be continued.
