I HIGHLY RECOMMEND LO-JACK!! I have it in all my trucks. I don't even have to worry about locking them. They guarantee recover in 24 hours or less!

Insurance discount for having the device installed.

Bummer about your truck

Not to take away for the loss of the person whom lost their truck bnut Lo-Jack only works if the vehical is in the area of coverage. They are not GPS enabled yet, so in the words of my wife (a 10 year LAPD Veteran) if you dont call within 30min of you car being stolen good chance they have driven the vehical aout of the "range" of the Lo-Jack monitering system.

Just food for thought.

There are other systems out there that use satellite tracking, and YOU can access it anytime from computer, or even your phone.

I'll also keep my eyes peeled here in the Valley/LA. I'll be everywhere from Sherman Oaks to Burbank to Simi tomorrow.

ALERT

I am almost positive this vehicle just drove past me 45 minutes ago south of Moss Landing on Highway 1 headed south.

I was headed north and flipped a u-turn as quick as I could but there was a lot of traffic so I lost sight of him.

Hauled butt all the way back down to Marina and saw nothing. Went back up and cruised up and down through Castroville and still nothing.

There was a CHP parked back by Highway 1 so I alerted her to the whole situation.

Described the truck and it fits this one to a T.

She said she would get on the horn to let the officers in the vicinity know.

I could not see the plate but it fit this vehicle very, very closely and after driving up and down that highway a million times at that time of day, I have never seen it in the area before.

Pretty shady looking cat behind the wheel too.

Anyone south of Castroville in the Salinas / Monterey area needs to keep their eyes open.

I remeber this post on pirate 4x4. I was in my Rover and Saw a exact Twin of your Land Cruiser I drove like right pass it. And It matched everything that was stated on your Land Cruiser. I didn't get good look at the license plate but everything was an exact match. This was in Fremont California and the truck was headed for highway 80 southbound
