I know there are some MTB riders from AZ here on the forums, thought I would help. Brad or "bwcastle" on MTBR had his locked Moonlander stolen, please pass the info along. I would be sick if my was pinched, may they find his bike soon and beat the fingers of the thief with a ball-pein hammer! Thieves SUCK.

"Yesterday (Dec. 2nd) afternoon my Surly Moonlander was stolen from its locked location in Downtown Tempe AZ durring an art festival. I was only away from the bike for a half hour or so, while I grabbed a bite to eat. The cable was cut, and the bike was stolen in broad daylight, on a busy occupied street. A police report was filed and the serial number has been circulated. Any help or information, and a vigilant eye for any new Moonies appearing for sale, would be very much appreciated. If you need my contact info shoot me a PM.
Thanks again,
Brad"

"Chum, Thanks for the help, I just posted with the AZ folks. As far as a description of the bike, Its a fairly new bike, so there isn't much for dicerning features, but... A little info on the bike: Its the standard Moonlander "sparkly" black, the top tube has a flat black sticker that says "Team Loco. Com", and has another sticker on the bottom tube "Take The Hill"; The tire on the front rim is on backwards; The back tire has a schrader valve, and the front has a presta valve, It has black Shimano SPD Multi-purpose pedals (clipless on one side and standard on the other)"
