I'm trying to find a nice stove that I can use on the rear door table. I was thinking along the lines of 2 burners. Any thoughts?

table is 11"x36"

Not a good idea...

I don't know about you but, having a stove that close to the interior of the transport vehicle(or any vehicle for that matter) might not be the best idea. Suppose a grease fire ignites the interior of the vehicle?. I would instead use the table as a prep area and put the stove a few feet away from the vehicle. Maybe glue some hooks to the underside of the table to hang a trash bag, dump your prep scraps in and you are done.

Having said all that, if you are still looking for a table i would look into the coleman mentioned above. I have seen it on display at costco and it looked worthy of use.

Good luck and stay safe.

Gonzzo.

how much is the first stove on this page? the small 2 burner...
the hoses fit larger 20lb propane tanks, or can I use smaller propane bottle?

http://partnersteel.com/prod01.htm

thanks!

The small two burner is around $265.00, I'll have to look at the price sheet tomorrow to reconfirm.

The hose is set up for a regular size propane bottle 5 lbs - 10 lbs are the most commonly used. The 20 lbs tanks are best kept at home by the BBQ.

You can get an adapter to fit the disposable 1 lbs bottles.

A 5 lb bulk propane tank is only 12" tall and 8" in diameter, it's reusable and weighs 10lbs.

x2 for the Partner Steel. It will be the last stove you will buy. I had my previous Coleman 2 burner since High School. This Partner will be handed down to my kid easily.

Why did you make the table only 11in deep? Mine is somewhere around 15 or 18. It fits my stove great and i have a coleman 2 burner something or other. its a classic looking one.

if you look at the pic, you can see that the way the door is shaped only allows it to be about that wide.

what about using that as a kitchen counter and getting a dedicated stove stand?
otherwise with a little creativity you can make a shelf for that shelf to extend the depth, double folding? clip on extender? just a couple "legs" to stick out to hold a bigger stove?
