In addition to the other options mentioned above, let me add the MetalCloak rear bumper & tire carrier assembly to the list of ultra-stout tire carriers. To mine I have mounted a 35" spare tire, a full Titan Trekker fuel tank, a Hi-Lift Jack, and a Trasharoo. In addition to that >250lbs, I can also sit my nearly 300lb *** on the tire, and the carrier still closes and opens with a 2-finger pull of the latch.
