Stupid GM IFS question

^^Yep, that is what happens when you lift (usually torsion bar adjustment) the front and when you don't add a steering brace kit to prevent the center link from rotating. Most pullers have learned to keep the front at stock height or even lower the front below normal and of course add some type of steering brace kit.

Why don't atv's have solid front axles? Every atv i have owned has gotten along fine with ifs and have taken me places a truck couldn't get to. I prefer my ifs burb for any long distance traveling and a bike on the hitch rack to ride ahead and see if its worth bringing the truck in. The farther I get from home the less desire I have to rough up my truck in the woods. The ifs is plenty capable of taking me to some out of the way camp spots....set up base camp and go explore on the bike. I really like traveling with two motors. If the truck gives me trouble, I have the bike so I'm not stranded.
