I would be scared to machine the center bore out on those wheels. If it was a steel wheel I wouldn't be that scared but since those look to be alloy I would diffidently not machine the center bore. You will loose strength in a key part of the wheel if machined. These older Toyota's use lug centric wheels where the newer stuff uses hub centric. Have you looked into the Method race wheels? They have a wheel that is close to the Ray10.

Hmmmm? Interesting... Thanks for the link! Method seem to have nice stuff but it they dont grab my attention like the Ray 10s. (Plus wife actually really likes the Rays) Guess it shows I need to keep looking??? So "lug centric" is a term I should be looking for on new wheels?

As long as you find a wheel that has a 106mm center bore size they will fit. Four wheel drive Toyotas and four wheel drive 1/2 ton GM trucks use the same bolt pattern but the center bore is larger on the Toyotas. I found this the hard way with a set of truck rally wheels off of a Cheverolet. Was very disappointed when they would not go over the hub. However most aftermarket wheels usually have the larger center bore. So as long as you find a wheel that has the 106mm center bore you should be good to go.

Your truck looks really clean and you do not see nice 93's around very often. If I had your truck I know exactly what I would do.

Keep the truck clean.

The Old Cool thread i agree is pretty awesome.
I checked out the wheelers website and it looks like my truck is too old for them. When your talking about a small lift that really works are you thinking something like this?

Thanks for the pic! It helps a lot. Interesting to see my rims there. Maybe they just need to be "renewed". Stance looks good too. What year is your truck? Any rubbing at all? It sure doesnt look like you would.

OK, so I've been thinking about this for a while now especially after seeing my rims on 33x12.5x15s. I'm surprised 12.5 fit.
Since the Stealth worn't work the way i would like and I can not find ones the really do it for me I think I will redo the factory wheels, at least for now, and put on some bigger rubber.

This. KISS. I haven't run the ball joint spacer, but something about that just seems scary to me. I had a 91 runner that I put OME rear springs and shock, and front OME shocks. cranked the torsion bars. If you just want a lift you could go with blocks in the rear and crank the torsion up. If I were going to, Id go with OME rear spring pack, shocks, OME torsion bars and shocks in the front and call it done. 33X10.50 or even 33x9.50 for that matter. On the factory wheels. The Stealth look great, but they wont function any different than the factory. And, the factory wheel you have is pretty hard to come by now.

I had a 91 runner that I put OME rear springs and shock, and front OME shocks. cranked the torsion bars. If you just want a lift you could go with blocks in the rear and crank the torsion up. I'm leaning toward 33x10.5. I'm going to fix up these old beat up rims and mount the 33's on them and see what happens. If they rub I guess I will have to take the next step.
