Has anyone used the Sunforce 12 volt battery charger? I was looking at picking one up to keep the Red Top Optima Charged on my trailer?

No advice on the the charger but for your trailer I would recommend a blue marine optima battery for the trailer.. they are designed to be discharged and then charged up again as the red top is mainly designed for starting purposes. Yellow is dual purpose starting and for electronics..

In most cases you need a 50-60W panel. Those little ones are only good for providing maintenance charge for storage AFTER you've already fully charged the battery.
