Thing needs some Jurassic Park -like graphics on it now. nice to see it all come together. 6BT-REX would be a great plate.

To post images from photobucket just copy and last the direct image link form there, and put img before it in brackets and /img after it in brackets, no spaces.

Yes well it WAS easy! Somewhere along the line something changed and now every time I try and post a pick from my computer I get a "upload failed" message. No idea why or what changed. As you can see I posted many photo's before this started happening. Please remember you are talking to a computer dummy! I don't even know what a IMG tag is nor how to find it not to mention what I do with it when I get it! :) Give me a good mechanical issue and I can solve it any day but dealing with invisible electrons that you can't see where they are going to, coming from or why is beyond frustrating. Thanks for the help DzlToy. It's appreciated. You can bet I will post more pics on this as it progresses. It's not finished yet!

And yes I forget who but someone mentioned the 6BT-REX plate idea some time ago. Might even have been you rayra. They are on the way! I think it was a great idea.

16 months of sweat, blood and stomach lining here. The single most difficult part was waiting 6 MONTHS to get it all back from body and fender. I just will never understand why in that industry it seems to be just OK for them to say "sure you'll have in a 4 weeks" then drop the job for every little easy thing that comes into the shop, then 5 months later get pissed at you for asking them to get the thing done. I live in a world where when a man says "I'll get it done" he does it. End of story. Not so here. Oh well I refuse to dwell in the past and will move on to the future!
Next up is a pair of Swing Cases and a Diamond Back cross bed tool box to go under the Diamond Back truck cover that is now on it. Then I will Linex the cover for a nice clean finish! The cruise control, RKE system and Nav system all work perfectly now. Just gotta finish tuning the trans and it will be golden! Gotta say cruising down the road in the sunshine the other day in this truck made it all worth it!

Well I now have an entire 1000 miles on Virgil (my wife named him). Changed the break in fluids and greased him up for his first 1500 mile trip to Montana and back. Left this morning and had an easy 165 mile day. This thing drives great! It would be AWESOME if I could figure out why the cruise control doesn't work. All the inputs are correct but no worky! Oh well I'll figure it out AFTER vacation! :)

IMG_20160625_125534559.jpg 7800 foot Logan pass in Glacier National park NW Montana. Put 3000 miles on the truck and everything works very well. This however isn't towing a load. We shall see!
