Superduty Antenna cracks Windshield

Going down a tight double track a branch whipped the antenna into the windshield. That's a first.

I agree that’s a poor design, plus the antenna is like 6 feet long, i got rid of mine day one.

They use it because it works. So many other vehicles have crappy reception. I will say in 30 years with Ford, this is a first.

I think I've also heard of the antennas being ripped out of the fenders at car washes as well.
