When in school I was heavy involved with Superior SAR and was a leader of Michigan Tech SARTA. I thought that the manual developed in the groups heyday could be helpful if your group is trying to develop something similar. I am sorry i do not have a better way to present it as i seem to have misplaced the word files, but you can copy past to your hearts content.

We worked with DOGS North and the local Amateur radio group along with providing personal for communications and coordinating efforts for the city police department and community events. I would love to volunteer again but find i can not commit enough time. We were a very hodgepodge group with little funding but did execute some successful searches and did a lot of community service and awareness.
