Surplus drawer, cabinet, table system

Anybody else seen one of these?

It's a military surplus medical cabinet. It has six drawers of various heights and two folding tables. The tables function as the front and rear covers. The whole shooting match seals up weather-tight with 12 spring latches. It's made of aluminum; the drawers are spot-welded together.

Anybody know of any other sources to buy this thing?? That thing's a monster and I love it!! It'd make such a good kitchen box that would make everything accessible w/o unloading half of my other stuff!

No drawers, and 73lbs (empty) according to the response I got from Army Surplus Warehouse. Definitely in stock.

That's the model I have and I can attest to the weight. The thing is not light but it is super cool. The tables, when set up, are actually the same height as the cabinet designed to be one continuous table surface about 8 feet long. I suspect the model with the drawers is 100lbs.

Now I understand why you have yours on a slide - http://www.expeditionportal.com/for...our-drawer-storage-system?p=928381#post928381
Maybe dropping the weight of the drawers is worth it, and I like your two-shelf setup besides.

I used one of these without the drawers for many years and it worked great. Everything stayed nice and dry in the truck bed. They are heavy though. I just recently sold it at the CO swap meet.

Thanks everyone for the help and input. I saw the original post for a supplier, but I wanted to shop around and see if I could find a better deal. I love this thing and think it's great, but damn that weight pushes me away. I wanted to make it a kitchen-box, which may not be bad if I just leave it in the Jeep. Thanks again and GREAT FIND!!!
