Surplus drawer, cabinet, table system

I've seen those cool medical tables in the past. They're cool but I'd like to find a used Pelican unit like these. They're pretty expensive.

Those look really cool but at $1600+ new and $1000+ surplus, they seem a pretty unrealistic option. Now if you could roll up on some unsuspecting surplus store and walk out with one for $100 you'd have something. It seems doubtful though.

Has anyone purchased the drawer system? I am interested, but would really like to know if the drawers open from both sides?

Sorry to raise this from the dead - but pretty interested in these things. Are they really 70-80lbs though??? Even in Aluminum?

Stumbled on this thread...

I have two of these bad boys... Paid about $50 (for both) and have access to many more of them. Brand New in crate.

If anyone is interested, I think the guy I got them from sells them for $100, (He owed me which is why I got them for cheap).

Let me know and I'll get you the details.

Do the drawers on these open both directions, or just to the front?

So looks like my contact has sold all of his NOS cabinets... However there are still a few at Smith and Edwards in northern Utah. They aren't the model with drawers... Nor are the ones I have. :(

If anyone wants me to check them out at Smith and Edwards I'd be more than willing... Though I think shipping will be spendy.

Of course everyone needs an excuse to drive out to Utah.

These things are awesome but for the weight.

Hmmm...thinking bout what I bring already.
REI Camp Kitchen (old style)- probably 30lbs. New kind is 22lbs but is smaller and made with different type of aluminum braces/legs.
Yellow/black tote filled with kitchen gear- another 30lbs

Not sure how much the military kit would weigh with all the goods inside but it is quite stout and has two tables.
30" tall? Looks much higher.

Plus it is COOL!
