Trackicks have a frame that body bolts to. There are body lift kits available for them too. I dont have a lift on mine.

Nice rigs Gents! I know that the Sammi has a frame. But what about the the tracker/kick and the like with IFS. Are they all uni body?
my 2003 tracker/vitara has a full length truck frame, straight rear axle coil springs all around and a proper 5 link rear suspension. They are rear drive, longitudinal engine and married, locked transfer case that has low range. They had auto hubs for a while (first gen) but mine came without disconnecting hubs, but you can adapt them to be manual or auto easily. We also have disc brakes front and drums rear.

In 2005 they changed to independent rear which makes me lose interest rapidly.

I know many samurai would scoff at their design but they have a very nice little package that retains a lot of utility. Samurai is a gem but I can go down the road at 75 with the air conditioning on and the lumbar adjusters and arm rests in effect. I can also take my parents out to dinner. I just love these little rigs.

Back in mid 80's I bought a brand new Suzuki Samari, black on black, hard roof option with the bigger tires available. I loved it, we used to drive motorycle trails in lots of areas, only downside on long hills it had diminishing power, so by time I was at top I was going silly slow. I was transferred outof state in 89 so sold roof to friend and traded Suzuki in for boring car. This thread really makes me wish I still owned it, but as a just out of college grad I had no money so it had to go.
