I've seen people asking about these and saw this on CL. Not much use down here, where the humidity is 85% or better most of the time. But looks interesting none the less. If any desert rats care to look.

They work great in the desert. I had a small electric model that sat on the transmission hump of my 66 Chevy PU. I'd load it with ice and water and it would blow cold until I hit the next gas stop.
