Sway Bars

Hello everyone!
I have a 2007 3/4 duramax with super springs and rancho 9000's. I'm hauling a wolf creek 850, it does a good job, no squat, rides nice. I do have some sway i would like to get rid of. Who out there has my combo buy also added a sway bar? I'm looking at hellwig. or any other combo's that you would recommend?

Hellwig swaybars.

I can only speak for the reduction in sway the Hellwig swaybars provided for mine and a friend's 2500 4wd CTD's. With my popup,I went with the Hellwig 1 3/8" standard. Friend carries a hardsided camper and bought the 1 5/8" Big Wig. Amazing inprovement in highway handling. Offroad though, you will feel the diminished articulation. No biggee, just go a little slower. Great product and installs in 45 minutes or so.

Turn your shock adjusters in a few clicks. I have them on an E350 4x4 and run them all the way in to reduce sway. I also have sway bars but those shocks still need to be tight.

I have the same truck (crew cab long box) and haul a 9'2" Corsair. I have a complete Rancho suspension lift (4") with the RS900's and custom Firestone airbags. The stock springs allow way too much sway but with the airbags and all four RS9000 shocks adjusted properly, it handles the twists and turns extremely well. I have considered a rear sway bar but my current set-up works so well by allowing full adjustment to ride comfortably on rough gravel roads or the highway, fully loaded or empty, that I feel a rear sway bar is not needed. I did however replace the stock rubber bushings on the front sway bar with urethane as the stockers just can't handle the stress.

I added the bigwig sway bar and I'm happy now. but I installed both the rancho's and the bigwig at the same time so I don't know which helped more..

I had the 9000's on my '98.5 for a bit. Cranking them up does indeed kill some sway but at the cost of ride quality. Swaybars do just that, control sway without affecting the highway ride.
Cranking up my 9000's would cause me to feel every expansion joint in California.
A set of Hellwigs enables you to soften them up considerably.

Helwig Bigwig, made my truck and camper corner like a sports car, well almost, best system for sway control

The Helwigs definitely work well for me on the highway. Off highway, I unattach one side for better traction and articulation. It actually sways less with it loose.
