I think a similarly spec'd new one is about $105k. Whether that makes the used one overpriced or a steal is up to the buyer. That said, it seems about $5k-$7k higher than similar vehicles are listed for on the Sportsmobile site. Having never seen the vehicle in person, I can't comment on condition, but I really want a sportsmobile.

Just curious, can these things be considered as a second home and write off the interest?

My recollection is, to be eligible to write off the interest as a second home, an RV (or boat) must be self contained, meaning that a toilet and possibly a shower is needed. And I don't believe porta-potties count.
