Do you guys have any recommendations for the t-case 80w90 oil? Something local since I am taking in my monty for major service tomorrow. Anyone against lucas? I wish I could find Amsoil locally, but I can't. Thanks in advance.

Id just stick with a good quality dino lube. I'm no rocket scientist but I'd be willing to bet money that the difference between lubes would be inconsequential with normal off road use (I.e. operationally it would not be noticeable after 500k miles) so long as you're changing fluids as prescribed by mitsu. If you're racing it, that might be a different story, but then again you probably wouldn't be asking that question here if you were. ;)

Ray, you KNOW I am a noob to wheeling. That is why you were guiding me back in Jan... Thanks, I will just stick to whatever I find then.

Hey, not making light of anything here. And in all fairness, I'm far from any kind of expert and literally learn something new every day on mitsu's so before you decide, wait to hear what others have to say.

Don't piss down my back and tell me it's raining.
I'm running Amsoil in the t-case and diffs., and have run their lubes in all of my 4x4 vehicles- it has always performed flawlessly.
I've used the following in my Gen. III since it was purchased ten years ago:

T-case: 75w-90 severe gear
diffs: 80w-90 gear lube

I ended up just using dino Chevron T-case oil and Mobil 1 diff oils. I wish regular stores carried amsoil. A lot of BMW guys like the stuff too!
